Before Midwest Gym Supply, there was Paul Kemp, a self-made innovator and inventor of custom gymnastics equipment.
Not satisfied with what was available at the time, Paul designed and manufactured equipment for his own gymnastics club, located in Madison, Indiana.
What began as a small family business has evolved into the present 34,000 square foot gym, fabrication center, warehouse and office site.
In 1989 Midwest Gym Supply ran its first ever event: the Indiana State Compulsory Championship.
During the height of the 2013-2014 competition season, MGS supplied on one weekend 14 complete sets of equipment, to 9 different events, in 5 different states!
