Functional fitness is a way of training your body and muscles to help perform every day tasks.
With emphasizing core stability by using both lower and upper body muscles at the same time you build strength and endurance by simulating common movements.
Functional fitness involves multiple joints and muscles instead of targeting a specific body part.
In doing so, these exercises can make everyday activities easier and reduce your risk of injury.

The program will be coached by Jarrod Wyatt.
Coach Wyatt's main goal for all his athletes is to get them to understand how to properly move and turn on the appropriate muscles when executing all lifts.
The athletes can also expect to implement explosive jumps, coordination drills, loaded carries, and sport specific movements during this program.
This program is specifically for those athletes that are looking to better themselves and their teams by getting stronger and more explosive.
The athletes will work hard every day!

I have worked as a Histotech in a pathology laboratory for over 10 years, so I have extensive knowledge of the human body and its processes.
I fell in love with CrossFit as soon as I was introduced to it and am now a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer!
I have been doing it faithfully for approximately 7 years and I have seen my health and quality of life improve tremendously.
As a type 1 Diabetic it is very important for me to stay active and CrossFit has allowed me to do that without getting sick of the "same old" workouts every day!
