We aim to provide a helpful environment, so you can achieve your best physical and mental state of well-being. We use the most effective techniques in exercise and fitness training and will show you that exercise can be a truly enjoyable experience. We take pride in our own fitness and well-being and we want to help you plan and achieve your goals.

If you have questions regarding the cancellation of a personal training session, please contact your trainer.
We make every attempt to hold our classes at the scheduled time.
Sometimes, however, the roads are too dangerous to drive on.
When the Windham, Maine school district is cancelled (RSU 14), our classes are also cancelled.

We don't always have staff on location.
Trainers are typically at PNF when a fitness class or personal training session is scheduled.
Whitney graduated from University of Maine at Presque Isle with a B.S. in Recreation & Health in 1988.
Whitney has been a group fitness instructor for over 25 years.
Whitney has been an active member of the American Council of Exercise since 2002 & a professional certified personal trainer for 12+ years.
Whitney currently is co-owner/trainer at PNF and lives in Windham with her husband and 3 children.
Graduated from University of Maine at Presque Isle with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Leisure Services/Health.
My passion for fitness began when I was 14 years old and I started working out at home using soup cans as weights.
My love for fitness grew and I went on to earn my BS in Exercise Science from Springfield College.
Years (and years) later it is still one of the most important anchors in my life and the only thing that keeps me grounded on most days.
I have spent the past 15 years working in the disability insurance which enabled me to work and develop relationships with many people from many walks of life.
B.S. in Health Sciences and a minor in Holistic and Integrative Health from the University of Southern Maine.
Received a Certification in Gerontology.
Courses in nutrition, physical fitness, and wellness.
CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through the American Red Cross.
Fitness is a mental decision.
You must first change your mind before you can change your body.
Find balance, push yourself, never stop creating new goals, and enjoy what you do along the way.
During our first meeting, we'll sit down and discuss your goals, your schedule, and your fitness level and history.
We'll then ask for some more information that will help us guide you down the right path.
By learning more about you and what you want to achieve, we can customize your experience to maximize your results and ensure you reach your goals.
