Lewis Fitness & Performance is a high-performance training facility designed for athletes looking to make a serious commitment to their long-term health & performance. Lewis F&P provides athletes with an environment in which they can help identify their greatest needs and work toward improvements both inside and outside the training facility.

With an emphasis on the individual, each client is provided with unique programming, nutritional tips and guidelines, and the coaching necessary to carry reach their goals effectively.Lewis F&P athletes have competed successfully at national and international levels, but mostly right here in Erie. Recognized for its no-nonsense, motivating training environment with just the right mix of science and attitude, the knowledge displayed and results attained will get you to where you want to be.

Ryan has trained at LFP during his offseason every year since turning pro after a stellar career at Mercyhurst University. His hard work has not only lead him to the Olympics but to a breakout season in the KHL and earning a 2 year contract extension earlier this month.

The fitness & performance industry has entered a very interesting place over the last half decade.
The industry has been flooded with training methods and philosophies that have both advanced the field, and at the same time set it back many years.
These days it is all about using cool exercises you see on TV or on the internet, the newest piece of equipment, or how sore you become the next day.
These are benchmarks for quality that both athletes and the general population are using to gauge the effectiveness of their training.
Sports Performance is all about developing a complete athlete.
What all goes in to developing a complete athlete you ask?
At Lewis Fitness & Performance we use an Athlete Development Pyramid to illustrate the necessary components needed in this process.
The essence of this pyramid is that it needs a great foundation to grow to its full potential.
At the base of the pyramid is Foundational Movement.
These qualities are assessed and developed on a daily basis as part of all of our programs here at Lewis Fitness & Performance.
The LTAD membership includes UNLIMITED sessions, in-season training, weekly recovery options, and nutritional guidance.
Your start date is your membership pay date; the date of your first session will be your monthly due date for membership payments.
The membership works just like a regular fitness facility membership in that every month your dues are deducted through an Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
The difference lies in the fact that you are purchasing a training membership so every time you come to the facility you are scheduled and will work with one of our highly qualified coaches.
The following list was compiled to give a basic outline of possible job responsibilities and learning objectives for each student.
These time requirements provide vast differences in the overall experience as the full time interns (600 hrs) will compile much more experience compared to those who are part-time.
To continue to provide an excellent client experience, we want all of our students to be positive members to our team, no matter what the length of time they spend with us.
This will be a basic list of previous measurable responsibilities and expectations, but it is subject to change.
It is our goal at LEWIS Fitness & Performance to provide a long term developmental option for every athlete that participates in the training process.
In order to ensure this process, having flexibility in scheduling is instrumental.
We realize that kids involved in athletics are busier then ever before, and it is not getting any easier.
With that being said, our scheduling will NOT be locked to a certain day and time each week.
Our athletes may choose to have either a recurring schedule, or a schedule that changes as frequently as on a weekly basis.
