DOYLESTOWN, PA - Doylestown Rock Gym offers over 12,000 square feet of indoor rock climbing surface, including overhangs, boulders, aretes, chimneys, caves, cracks and lead walls. Our indoor rock climbing gym and adventure facility is ideal for rock climbers of all ages and abilities. We offer beginner to advanced rock climbing, outdoor rock climbing and lead climbing lessons and classes, with group rates available.

The Doylestown Rock Gym & Adventure Center is housed in one of the original airport hangers for the Doylestown Airport (then called Airon Field).
The building was an active airport hanger until the early 1960s, when the new airport hangers were constructed.
Looking at the front of the building you can still see the enormous, sliding steel doors that would allow planes to enter and exit the hanger.
Over the years the building was used for various industrial business.
In 1995, local resident and climber David Pastorok and his wife Nancy had a vision to build an indoor rock climbing facility.

All memberships include free or discounted BELAY INSTRUCTION, discounts in the PRO SHOP, and much more.
We offer both membership and discount day pass options for those wanting to climb at both gyms.
Each gym has unique features making it worth the trip!.
Current Doylestown members pay only $10.00 for a day pass when visiting Downingtown Rock Gym.

Can I drop my kids off at the gym?
If they are enrolled in a program such as a class, camp or Kids Night Out then you may not be required to stay at the facility.
However, if they are coming in for open climbing then they must be 12 years or older to remain in the facility on their own.
Is there a weight limit?
No.
The weight limit that is rated by our anchors and equipment far exceeds the weight range of a climber.
Do I need a reservation to come climb?
If you are coming for a day pass or one of our staff assisted walk-in packages then we only require a reservation if your group is 6 people or more.
If they are enrolled in a program such as a class, camp or Kids Night Out then you may not be required to stay at the facility.
However, if they are coming in for open climbing then they must be 12 years or older to remain in the facility on their own.
